Born in Milan in 1967, Andrea Bovara spent years studying engineering before he decided to follow his artistic vocation.
As a self-taught artist, he studied and experimented new techniques. He found his inspiration in Renzo Vespignani's elegant trait.
At first attracted by comic strip and illustration drawing techniques - of which he produced and published several works - he moved towards painting and concentrated on the depiction of faces and human bodies, with the purpose of spreading on canvas the joy and sufferance that nature gives to us.
Andrea took part in both collective and personal shows, such as Nuovo Spazio Arte and Libreria Bocca (Galleria di Milano). He designed book and CD covers.
He died on January 2014, leaving behind him a small treasure of investigation on mankind that he translated into works of art, that are characterized by a suggestive, intense and refined trait.
